Tarzan star Ron Ely has died at the age of 86, and his daughter confirmed the sad news to FOX News Digital.
Heartbroken daughter Kirsten released an emotional statement to the magazine, which she shared on her Instagram page below a series of photos taken together over the years.
In a heartbreaking post, Kirsten spoke of how much she adored her father and how “honoured” it was to be his daughter.
She called Ely one of the “greatest men” and said he was “her world.”

“The world has lost one of the greatest people it has ever known, and I have lost my father,” her statement said.
“My father was what people call a hero. He was an actor, author, coach, mentor, family man, and leader. He was a powerful wave of positive influence wherever he went. has been created.
“The impact he had on others is something I’ve never seen in anyone else. There was something truly magical about him that helped the world know him. That’s the way.”

“I knew him as a father, and what a divine honor that was. To me, he hung the moon.”
Kirsten spoke about what the late star was like as a father, calling him a “role model.”

As she touches on her grief, she tries to hold on to “the strength and grace that I know he wants for me.”
“My greatest comfort is that my father is with my mother and brother. It is also my greatest sadness, because I miss them all so much. It is etched in my soul. ” she said.
“I will proudly carry all my favorite pieces with me and lovingly engrave them in my heart until we meet again.”

The end of Ely’s life was marred by tragedy.
His son, Cameron Ely, was reportedly unarmed when he was shot and killed by deputies at his father’s home.
He reportedly fatally stabbed his mother, Valerie, Ely’s wife. The late actor is survived by daughters Kirsten and Kaitland.
