The Australian state of Queensland will be home to the MonsterVerse as production begins on Season 2 of Legendary Entertainment’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

Legendary Entertainment’s production follows recent Queensland feature films Godzilla X Kong: New Empire, Godzilla vs. Kong and Kong: Skull Island. This further strengthens the close relationship between Legendary.

“Secure Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, the acclaimed studio’s fourth production in Queensland, is a collaboration between talented local filmmakers, world-class facilities, diverse locations and It’s a testament to a great mix of competitive incentives,” Ms. Feeney said.

Following the brutal battle between Godzilla and the Titans that devastated San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters follows two brothers as they follow in their father’s footsteps and become Monarchs. Uncover your family’s connections to known secret organizations. This dramatic story spanning three generations reveals buried secrets and how epic, earth-shaking events affect our lives.

The upcoming season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will be executive produced by Chris Black and Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harrold and Tori Tunnell.
