BTL Next Step placements offer below-the-line (BTL) mid-career practitioners a unique career advancement opportunity to step up to senior crew and leadership roles where there is a shortage of talent.

The latest placements focus on upskilling line producers, location managers, production managers, post-production supervisors, sound designers and special effects supervisors.

Stage 2 applications are now open for nine practitioners to take part in the BTL Next Steps programme. These are competitively assessed paid placements for mid-career practitioners who are ready to upskill and advance their career.

Applicants may apply at any opportunity and do not need to currently reside in the listed location to apply.

Applications are accepted for:

Cosmic Dino Studio: Line Producer (Brisbane, Queensland) SAM Content: Line Producer (Sydney, NSW) Ringo Pictures: Location Manager (Botany, NSW) Jungle Entertainment: Production Manager (Moor Park, NSW) Cutting Edge: Post Production Supervisor (Mascot), NSW) Sweet Shop Green: Post Production Supervisor (Abbotsford, Victoria) Walking Fish Productions: Post Production Supervisor (Brunswick, Victoria) Boom Tracks: Sound Designer (Port, Victoria) Melbourne) Princess Bent: Special Effects Supervisor (South Melbourne, Victoria)

Applications are now open and close at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 4 July 2024.
