New “Weapons” trailer unleashes the latest horrors of “Barbarian” director

The second official trailer of the internal organs was dropped for weapons. This is an upcoming horror film from Barbarian film director Zack Cleger. Please see the above for more details.

Think about the kids

The trailer is set on stage with the disappearance of 17 children from a single classroom in the small town of Maybrook. Each child willingly leave the house at 2:17am and disappears in the evening. From there, we follow teachers Justin Gundy (Julia Garner) and Archer Graf (Josh Brolin), who are the fathers of one of the missing children, who face each other and begin to unravel the horrifying mystery.

As the eerie image escalates, the bloody face escalates, there is a possibility of a glittering self-harm, and a nod to the glorious thing. The devil’s voice repeats.

The trailer doesn’t fully explain this phenomenon, but it hints at what looks like a madness in some property style (Benedict Wong runs through town, his eyes bulging out, his face looking at blood, not himself), and it’s a vast story that spans multiple perspectives. It’s an ambitious leap from the wild people, and Clegger confirms that the film is unfolding through six different lenses: teachers, parents, police officers, criminals, principals and students.

An ambitious story born from a tragedy

As mentioned in an April interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cleger revealed that the weapon was born from a personal heartbreak.

“I had a tragedy that was really tough in my life. I died suddenly very, very close, very close. Honestly, I was just starting to write weapons, not as a way to consider my feelings,” he said.

Calling “an incredibly personal,” Cleger added:

Clegger named the unexpected film as influence. Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia cites interwoven storylines and structures of tone complexity. “I love that bold scale,” he said. “They wrote this and filmed it for the stars and gave them permission to make it an epic. I wanted a horror epic, so I tried to do it.”

“Weapons” are bigger and strangers’ visions

Compared to his debut feature, Cregger promises this is a step up in every way. “It’s more ambitious in almost every respect. I don’t just mean budgetary, but I mean creatively,” he said. “The story is weird, it’s twisted, it’s big. I have more actors to fit in with this. The pieces on the set are definitely bigger. It’s a bigger, weirder movie than the wild guy.”

And for those who want to connect with wild people, if any potential hints are present, it hasn’t been wrapped yet. The promotional site Maybrookmissing.net includes news articles from Universe In-Universe that refer to Tesmarshall (a character from the barbarian Georgina Campbell), suggesting that both films could exist in the same universe. “I don’t want to be clear in any way,” Cleger said.

The weapon, featuring a cast, including Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher and Amy Madigan, will open on August 7th at Australian cinemas and on August 8th at US Cinemas.
