It’s that time of year again. PAX Aus is back for an epic gaming and pop culture event at the Melbourne Convention Center.

Starting today, the event will run from Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th, and will feature live panels, interactive events, contests, cosplay, and more.

For those with limited time at this record-breaking sold-out event, here are our top 5 must-dos at this year’s event (in no particular order).

Crunchyroll immersive experience

Gather with your friends and PAX attendees in an inflatable dome and let your team leader guide you through an immersive experience based on solo leveling. This is an Australian-first experience that takes teams into a cartoon temple to test their reflexes and survival skills. This is a lot of fun and a great way for fans to interact with the Solo Leveling series. It’s a lot of fun, and there are also free collectibles after the experience. There’s also an official Crunchy Roll store with exclusive Funko Pops. Vinyl figures including POP! Vinyl Animation: BLEACH – ICHIGO (GETSUGA) and POP! Vinyl Animation: Luffy’s Training Kung Fu Dugong Pop! Instant.

sega booth

Get your hands on the long-awaited Sonic Let’s take a picture. The Two Point series is expanding with a full-length display at the Two Point Museum. Try this game for the first time and immerse yourself in the world of museum management. Metaphor: Re Fantazio also offers hands-on treatments that give you the opportunity to try before you buy. It’s a great stop with something for everyone.

project dali

Republic of Gamers over at the ROG booth is bringing along their Project Dali test device. An immersive laptop screen that lets you create and express art on the outside screen of your laptop. This is done using e-ink and you can try out some preloaded images. You can also create designs and watch them flash outside of your laptop screen. It’s spectacular to watch and it’s great to see this progress.

Hands-on with ROG Ally X

Get the most powerful handheld device available to gamers with ROG Ally X. Experience the best way to play all the best games, including Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games, and more. Thanks to the extended battery life and improved cooling fan, this model feels light and comfortable in the hand. You can experience ROG Ally X at the ROG booth.

Ubisoft Just Dance Contest

This isn’t new to PAX, but it’s always the most fun thing about expos. Whether you’re watching gamers pull off their best tricks or jumping around yourself, the catchy music and good vibes pulsing from the Ubisoft booth are sure to put everyone in a good mood. This is free and open to everyone all weekend. Be sure to check out the other games on display, including Star Wars: Outlaws, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and Assassin’s Creed: Mirage.

See you here! If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, you can get your Sunday PAX Aus 2024 game badge here.
