NINTENDO SWITCH ONLINE October 2025 SNES addition
Mario & Wario Bubsy Claws and Fur Encounter Fatal Fury Special
Check out the promotional video for the newly added game below.
Nintendo describes each of the three games as follows:
mario & wario
Released in 1993 exclusively in Japan on the Super Famicom™ system, this title is full of action puzzles. Wario drops a bucket on poor Mario’s head, rendering him blind. It’s up to you to guide Mario safely to Luigi. Use the forest fairy’s magic wand to create footholds and change Mario’s walking direction to defeat enemies. You can clear all 100 screens full of unique challenges by simply moving the fairy with your mouse and clicking the left button once.
BUBSY™ in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind: Bubsy the bobcat is on the prowl to retrieve stolen yarn! Play as a furry feline in this action title released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ in 1993. Bubsy’s epic adventure begins when his precious thread is stolen by the Woolies, a thread-obsessed alien race. Race through a total of 16 stages, each with an average of 300 screens, full of quirky enemies and quirky mechanics. Run through every nook and cranny of the vast stage and look for the scattered balls of yarn to reach the goal.
Fatal Fury Special: pit 15 different fighters against each other! Released in 1995 for the Super NES™ console, this fighting game includes the original eight characters from Fatal Fury 2, plus three new characters (Billy Kane, Axel Hawk, and Lawrence Blood) and a new boss (Wolfgang Krauser). Additionally, three characters from the original Garouden return to battle: Tung Fu Lu, Duck King, and Geese Howard. While inheriting the two-line battles, special moves, and powerful finishers that were the charm of the previous work, this work further evolves the flow of the series, making it truly worthy of the name “SPECIAL.” Furthermore, if certain conditions are met, Ryo Sakazaki from the “ART OF FIGHTING” series will appear as a special guest, so keep an eye out!
