Screen Australia backs kids animation “Wishes” and VR drama “Lustration 2.0”

Screen Australia will announce 18 feature films, 10 TV dramas, two online projects and one virtual reality project, sharing more than $900,000 in story development funding. This list includes 16 projects supported through the Generate Fund, 13 projects supported through the Premium Fund, and 2 projects supported through the Online Development Fund.

Among the projects funded are “Wish,” an animated children’s series that follows five-year-old girl Lucy and her guardian animal Kino, and “Lustration,” the second installment of the acclaimed virtual reality series. 2.0″ etc.

“This diverse range of projects reflects a rich tapestry of creativity, from animated family adventures to thought-provoking drama. We’re committed to showcasing and nurturing the incredible talent we have here in Australia. It offers a wealth of opportunity,” said Bobby Lomia, Head of Development at Screen Australia. “We are committed to continuing to invest in ambitious, high-quality content for a wide range of audiences, and we look forward to watching these teams turn visions into compelling stories. looking forward to it.”

Synopsis: Life is hard. Life after death is even more difficult. The second installment of the acclaimed VR series from First Nations creator Griffen features Bardolph and Gallus. These two are the guardians of “The Between,” an area where the dead go to purify or “enshrine” themselves before passing into pure bliss. But when an evil target slips through their hands, everyone and everything in the “afterlife” begins to unravel.
