Why GDC 2025?
GDC is the pinnacle event on the global gaming calendar, bringing together the international gaming sector for an intensive week of panel discussions, awards, trade shows and networking.
This is an opportunity for early to mid-career game makers to connect with colleagues, learn from industry experts, explore partnership and funding opportunities, and understand practice in the broader international field.
Support available
Successful applicants will receive up to $10,000 in flights, accommodation, meals and event tickets from Screen Australia, as well as pre-departure and on-site support with a combination of workshops, presentations, mentoring and networking opportunities. Provide.
To be eligible for the program, applicants and company representatives must:
Have released and/or published at least one game on a public platform (Steam, itch.io, etc.). Actively working on at least one game (if you are a company representative, this should be the company’s game). Must be able to attend GDC 2025 (17-21 March 2025 and surrounding travel dates) and attend the pre-departure workshop in Melbourne in late February 2025 (domestic travel costs will be covered by successful delegates). ).
