This thrilling crime mystery series will receive $100,000 in development funding ($50,000 from Screen Australia and $50,000 from Dynamic Television) to bring its gripping story to life.

“Fox Hunt” follows Mackenzie Fox, a mysterious investigator who reappears after a five-year absence, determined to solve every case that comes her way. With a secret past and a city full of revenge-hungry enemies, Mackenzie navigates the line between the hunter and the pursued. This eight-part series promises a unique blend of suspense and drama, featuring a female protagonist who challenges the genre’s traditional characters.

Louise Goff, director of narrative content at Screen Australia, said: “‘Fox Hunt’ is an outstanding project that brings a new perspective to the thriller genre. Nicole Del Prado’s unique vision combines with Mackenzie Fox’s dynamic characters to create a persuasive story infused with wit and intensity. Delivering powerful stories to our viewers, we and the team at Dynamic Television are proud to support such innovative storytelling that highlights Australian creative talent on the international stage. ”

“Fox Hunt is exactly what we were looking for in our work with Screen Australia and we look forward to working with Nicole and Kate to further develop the series,” said Carrie Stein, President of Global Scripted Television at Dynamic. I can’t wait to get started.” The pilot’s script is mysterious, flawed, sassy, and thanks to an unmistakable central character with a wonderfully surprising backstory that is slowly and suspensefully revealed in service of the current season-wide mystery. , immediately caught our attention. ”

The Dynamic Television Scripted Initiative is a collaboration between Screen Australia and Los Angeles-based Dynamic Television that aims to support unique scripted television projects that demonstrate the potential for global success.
