Yesterday I broke the story that EB Games has certain requirements, including the Nintendo Switch 2 Midnight Laungs (by trading OG Switches and being an EB World Plus member).
With the midnight/breakfast launch policy update, anyone can go on to midnight or breakfast launch and pick up Switch 2 early, but there’s still an incentive to make sure they’re trading on the console and narrowing down everything if they want to come in and out.
It’s not clear if this is always the intention and the message is confusing, but this is now revealed to customers and both ways are great results.
