That’s news that we all feared. Grand Theft Auto 6 was delayed until May 26, 2026.

Originally scheduled for the last quarter of 2025, but after what appears to be a few months of speculation, this news seems more difficult than we all expected. Unfortunately, delays can occur for a number of reasons, but it’s also difficult to deny gamers and fans that the rocky launches taste bad in their mouths.
Certainly, games like Cyberpunk 2077 faced music and formed a few months later, but that’s not always the case. I think the rest of the games that will come out in 2025 will be able to sigh from Relief and begin announcing release dates.
GTA 6 is certainly one of the most anticipated games of all time, and we knew it would fall in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, but we are still technically on track to get it in that window.
