Xbox has announced that it is increasing the prices of its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. All accessories and games will start to bring price increases worldwide, including Australia, starting today.

The US is the worst hit that costs the Xbox Series X at $599 (940 Aud). Australia is also getting a price increase, but it means the Xbox Series X is more expensive than the PS5 disc edition, pushing the Xbox Series X Galaxy Black to the $1,000 Aud Mark.

The Xbox Series X will cost $849 (up from $799), the Xbox Series S will cost 549 AUD (up from $499), the limited edition Xbox controller will cost $129.95, and the Xbox Elite controller will cost 279.95 AUD.

It has also been announced that first-party Xbox games will reach 80 US dollars (~125 Auds) by the end of the year. This is inline with first-party games on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

New Xbox Series X Australia Prices

Xbox Series S 512GB – $549 AUD (499 AUD to UP) Xbox Series S 1TB – $599 AUD (549 AUD to UP) Xbox Series X Digital – $749 AUD (699 AUD to UP) Controller (Core) – $99.95 AUD XBOX Wireless Controller (Color) – $104.95 AUD XBOX Wireless Controller Special Edition – $119.95 AUD ($99.95 AUD to UP) (Full) – $279.95 aud ($249.95 aud)
