Silent Hill F was revealed a few weeks ago, but the typical Australian method rejects its classification in Australia. It’s been several years since the latest game was rejected for classification, but this is the most famous game of age.
The list of classification websites shows that classification by the IARC Global Assessment Tool has been rejected, but no further information is provided.
I contacted the Classification Committee and the local distributors of Silent Hill F to see if there was a reason for rejection and what the next step was.
There is no release date for Silent Hill F, but given that it was submitted for classification, it should quickly become quite a bit.
I know this game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Xbox Play Anywhere Support). This is a new story set in rural Japan in the 1960s, when Shimizu’s secluded town was consumed by a sudden mist, turning her home into an unforgettable nightmare.
From this point on, like all silent hill games, it becomes a twisted story where Hinako has to solve puzzles and fight monsters.
