Beyoncé performs during NFL Halftime on Boxing Day on Netflix – Your early Christmas wishes come true as Beyoncé performs on Netflix for the first time ever live on Netflix Boxing Game Day this December 26th. The performance will take place during the second of two broadcasts on Netflix. The Houston Texans will take on the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium at 8:30 a.m. (AEDT).
Produced by her companies Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, the performance in her hometown of Houston, Texas, featured songs from her genre-defying record-setting album COWBOY CARTER. will be performed live for the first time. Nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, the epic is currently the most nominated album by a female artist.
Beyoncé is no stranger to shocking appearances during NFL halftimes, having performed at two Super Bowl games. On February 4, 2013, she headlined Super Bowl XLVI in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was joined on stage by her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. This performance became the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history at the time.
On February 8, 2016, Super Bowl XV performed with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime shows in Santa Clara, California, with 115.5 million viewers watching. Participated in “Formation”.
The NFL joins Netflix and Beyoncé to kick off what is expected to be a new holiday tradition, as the streaming giant announced its 2025 and 2026 NFL games.
Details of the performance have not been disclosed, but Beyoncé is expected to feature some special guests featured on her album COWBOY CARTER.
Netflix is the global home for the NFL’s two featured Christmas Day games. The Kansas City Chiefs, who won Super Bowl I, will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5am AEDT. The Baltimore Ravens will then take on the Houston Texans at 8:30 a.m. AEDT. In keeping with the NFL’s long-standing holiday tradition, Netflix’s Christmas Day games will be broadcast on competing team city TV broadcasts and will also be available on mobile devices in the U.S. with NFL+.
