Tokyo 2020 women’s beach volleyball silver medalists Tariqua Clancy and Mariafe Altacho del Solar of Australia will have the chance to add to their bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday.

Clancy and del Solar, who won Australia’s first Olympic medal in beach volleyball at Tokyo 2020, lost in the semi-finals to Brazil’s Ana Patricia Silva Ramos and Eduarda Santos Lisboa, also known as Duda, to advance to the finals for the second consecutive tournament. I missed it.

Australian athletes will also have the chance to add to Australia’s 2024 Paris Olympic medal tally in track and field, track cycling, marathon swimming, taekwondo and weightlifting.

Australian athletes will compete in 14 medal events at the 2024 Paris Games on Friday.
