Good news for Australian Final Fantasy fans who missed out on the Square Enix Store exclusive physical bundle of Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remastered last year.
Physical editions are finally hitting Australian stores thanks to the wider release of the newly packaged ‘Anniversary Edition’ of the collection, which is no longer exclusive to SE’s own stores. As of now, both JB Hi-Fi and EB Games have the PS4 and Switch versions listed for release on October 8th.
The Anniversary Edition includes the same remastered versions of the original six Final Fantasy games released last year, as well as a sticker sheet. Do you think this is…something? You can pre-order below.

What is Final Fantasy Pixel Remastered Series?
The first six FINAL FANTASY games feature beautiful new 2D pixel graphics designed to look great on HD displays, a rearranged soundtrack overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu, a modernized user interface, Updated with improved gameplay features such as automatic combat options.
The games are available digitally on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, either individually or as a collection consisting of FINAL FANTASY I-VI.
As mentioned above, a new physical version, FINAL FANTASY I-VI COLLECTION ANNIVERSARY EDITION, was also announced. It will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2024, and includes a sticker sheet featuring familiar Final Fantasy figures.
