Screen Australia has launched a new games festival and events fund to promote the promotion of Australian games and game makers. The Fund supports the production, organization and presentation of Australian game festivals and events that significantly benefit Australia’s game making community.

Through the Games Festivals and Events Fund, successful applicants can apply for up to $100,000 in funding for festivals, conferences, workshops and events that provide exhibition, networking, speaking and community-building opportunities for Australian game makers.
Applicants can apply until funds are exhausted and will be notified of their results within 4-6 weeks of being approved.
To apply, applicants must:
Discuss the vision, scope and outcomes of your proposed event and identify funding possibilities with members of the Screen Australia Games team (email protected) A fully completed application form including contact details and confirmation of eligibility. Submit a proposal or action plan that outlines the intended outcomes, KPIs, and provides a detailed budget that addresses all components of the proposed project.
