The Lincoln Lawyer is one of the most popular legal dramas on television. Based on Michael Connelly’s crime thriller novel series, the show follows attorney Mickey Haller as he takes on cases across Los Angeles while operating from the back of a car in Lincoln Town.
The series recently aired its third season, which ended on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers hoping for more. Ms. Haller found herself in a serious problem that could have a serious impact on her life.
Fans who binge-watched all 10 episodes of season 3 are now wondering if there will be a season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer. Netflix hasn’t officially renewed the series yet, but there’s still a chance it could come back.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4: Update Status and Release Date

Netflix has not yet announced the renewal of The Lincoln Lawyer for season 4. However, that doesn’t mean the show has been cancelled. Streaming platforms typically take several weeks to analyze previous seasons’ viewership and decide on future seasons.
Meanwhile, the show’s team expressed a desire to continue Mickey Haller’s story. In an interview with TV Insider, co-showrunner Ted Humphrey said that he would like to work on season 4, but that Netflix is waiting for ratings on season 3.
“We’re in the hands of the audience. We’re quietly optimistic about that, but obviously, with Netflix, it always depends on how the current season goes.”
Humphrey added:
“So I just want to say to our fans and viewers of the show, if you want a season 4, we really want to bring you a season 4, so please watch it and watch it. Please tell your friends.”
From a story standpoint, Michael Connelly has written seven novels about Mickey Haller, so there’s still a lot to tell. The show has animated three books in the series so far, so there’s no shortage of original material.
The first three seasons follow an annual release schedule starting in 2022. If the series follows the same trend and gets renewed in the coming days, we can expect The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 to be released on Netflix by the end of 2025.

Last season ended on a note that put Mickey Haller’s future in jeopardy. After winning Julien La Cosse’s case and uncovering the truth about Glory Days’ death, the lawyer discovers a man’s corpse in the trunk of his car. The man turned out to be one of his former customers, Sam Scales.
In the next season, Haller will become a suspect in the case and may find himself in trouble with the authorities. The plot was featured in Connelly’s 2020 book, The Law of Innocence. According to the novel, Haller is arrested on suspicion of murder.
The lawyer, who has represented several clients over the years, will have to defend himself in court. He must prove his innocence with the support of his team and friends. Mr. Haller also needs to find out who led him to commit the murder and what their motive was.
The first three seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer are streaming on Netflix.
