Two years after the first season ended, The Devil’s Hour is back with its highly anticipated second season. Season 1 ended on a solid cliffhanger, but if fans were wondering if they’d have to wait forever for an update on season 3, there’s good news.

Peter Capaldi’s show was renewed for a third season, which coincided with season two, as the show’s writer Tom Moran always envisioned The Devil’s Hour as a three-season series. The second season of The Devil’s Hour embraces the show’s concept of multiple timelines more firmly.

The genre of The Devil’s Hour has been revealed, but the next season still has plenty of twists and turns to explore.

Fans of The Devil’s Hour can rejoice because not only has the show been renewed for a third season, but filming has already been completed. Filming for season 3 was already underway long before season 2 premiered on Prime Video.

It’s already clear to fans that The Devil’s Hour will work as a trilogy, as Jessica Raine, who plays Lucy on the show, mentioned in 2022.

“What was so appealing to me when I took this job was that the entire first season was written on the first day of shooting, so I knew exactly where it was going.”

Adding

“I also knew he[screenwriter Tom Moran]was planning a season two and a season three.”

Meanwhile, Sue Virtue, CEO of Hartswood Films and the show’s executive producer, said that when Seasons 2 and 3 of The Hour of the Devil were first announced, Lucy’s story He said everyone was very happy because they were given the opportunity to continue for a second season. More seasons.

He also added:

“Tom Moran and his great minds have so much more planned for us all. This has always been envisioned as a 3 Series arc and it’s going to be a thrilling journey. .”

When will The Devil’s Hour season 3 be released?

There was a two-year gap between seasons 1 and 2 of The Devil’s Hour, but fans probably won’t have to wait that long for season 3.

That’s because seasons 2 and 3 of The Devil’s Hour are being filmed back-to-back, and with season 3 already filming, the wait time between seasons is likely to be shorter.

Season 2 will be released in October 2024, so there will be a gap of one year until the next season arrives. Therefore, we can say that The Devil’s Hour season 3 will premiere around October 2025.

However, the release date remains speculation as there is no official confirmation yet.
