Hyosan’s nightmare is not over yet. This time, the infection is spreading across classrooms. Netflix confirmed that production officially began in season 2 of us all, more than two years after Korean zombies first sunk their teeth into viewers around the world.
To mark this opportunity, Netflix dropped a light-hearted behind the scenes video showing the cast of the table’s reading material. Please read the announcement promotion above and read more.
The first season, premiering in January 2022, became a global sense, one of Netflix’s most viewed non-English series, charting in the top 10 in over 90 countries. The second season was confirmed in June 2022 a few months later. After a long wait, the camera is finally rolling.
Who’s back and who’s new?
Several of the original cast members have returned, including Lee Chong-san, including Nam On Jo, Choi Hyun, Choi Hyun, Lomon, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Yoon Chan-Young.
They will join in with the addition of new additions, along with Lee Min-Jae (Weak Hero: Class 2), Kim Si-Eun (Squid Game Season 2), Roh Jae-Won (Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3), and Yoon Ga-I.

Season 2 shifts the story to soul
Season 2 is currently picking up with Nam On Jo at university in Seoul and is about to move forward from the horrors she faces. But peace does not last. Another outbreak began to pull her and pull her – and a new group of students, including Yong Ma-Ru (Lee Min-Jae), So-Ran (Kim Si-Eun), and Lee Jong-Ah (Yoon Ga-I), were once again in the fight for survival.
Elsewhere, survivors like Suhyeok and Nam-Ra have returned to Japan to tackle how the original outbreak changed their lives. Namura’s hybrid state is still looming, and the mystery of her fate may continue to be solved. New figure, Roh jae-won, appears as the leader of the National Intelligence Services team, suggesting a broader government response to the growing crisis.
Returning the creative team promises continuity
Behind the scenes, Season 2 will see the return of director Lee JQ (Daily Dosing of Nikko), co-director Kim Nam Shu and writer Chun Sung-il (King the Land), maintaining the same creative team and leading the series through the next outbreak.
Although it hasn’t been announced yet, filming is officially underway. The infection has not yet ended with us.
