Without wasting any time with a huge 45-minute presentation, Blizzard announced this morning that both Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness will be receiving the remaster treatment.
Now known simply as Warcraft Remastered and Warcraft II Remastered, respectively, both remasters include all the content released for the original game during its heyday.
The remaster includes all-new hand-drawn visuals, but purists can opt for the older visual style if they prefer.
The original Warcraft has been updated with a modern control scheme and is now a bit easier to play, while Warcraft II’s multiplayer options are included in the remastered version.
Even better, all the custom maps you’ve played with in Warcraft II will also work in Remastered.
Both remasters will be available as part of Battle Chests in Warcraft III: Reforged. We also recently made some important updates with today’s announcement.
Even better? Available now.
