Renewed for Season 7 before Season 6 airs later this year, Virgin River is now officially the longest-running original series currently airing on Netflix.
Ahead of season 6, the streamer confirmed that season 7 of the show has been greenlit.
Thanks to the early renewal, Virgin River is now the longest-running originally written series and the longest-running British drama series in Netflix history, Deadline reported.
