It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about IO’s 007 project, and in that time it seems like a Lego version of everyone’s favorite British spy was in the works at some point.
The video, posted by @LEGOGameMuseum on X (formerly Twitter), shows scenes from various James Bond movies rendered in classic LEGO style.
Although the game is no longer in production, people close to the project have confirmed that the video is real and that it began to take shape towards the end of Lego Dimensions’ development period.

Some theorize that this could end up being a level pack for LEGO Dimensions, but it’s also possible that this is a sort of pitch for the James Bond licensee to commercialize the game. Some people think there is.
However, most sources seem to think this is the latter.
Despite the excitement surrounding the project, it appears that the powers that be have decided not to move forward with it. Maybe it’s because of the non-family friendly nature of this series, but personally I would have loved to have seen this happen.
We don’t yet know what the next LEGO game will be like, but the latest installment, LEGO Horizon Adventures, is popular with younger audiences.
