Marvel Studios has released two new TV spots for Daredevil. Born Again offers a fresh glimpse into the highly anticipated Disney+ series. The dark and rough follow-up of the original Daredevil Show finds Matt Murdoch (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent Danofrio) on another collision course where the past has returned to plague them .
The latest previews, titled “Demon” (see one above) and “Venge” (bottom), show off some exciting new footage. They also highlight Murdoch’s internal struggle. “I was raised to believe in grace…but I was raised to believe in retribution again,” he states in one of the teasers.
“Hell-like violent…” kitchen
There’s one thing for sure. The show is promising not only to revisit the dark elements of Netflix’s predecessor, but perhaps even surpasses that in terms of genocide. Showrunner Dario Scardapane, who previously worked on the highly violent Marvel Netflix series The Punisher, promises Daredevil’s most cruel iteration.
“The level of violence is there for the Marvel/Disney show. I don’t think there’s anything else even in the ballpark,” Skuldapin said in an interview with Empire. “There’s definitely a batch of this and there are moments when Netflix goes past what he’s done.”
Even D’Onofrio himself emphasizes darker and more intense directions. But we go even further in darkness, behavior, and nasty. โ
