BlueFox Entertainment and BlueFox Canada have acquired North American digital and theatrical rights to the comedy Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story.
Starring Mike Smith as Bubbles, Rob Wells as Ricky, John Paul Tremblay as Julian, and Patrick Roach as Randy, the film is a spinoff of the long-running Canadian show Trailer Park Boys. The film depicts Bubbles and his band, the Citrorockers, embarking on a European rock tour and earning an opening spot for Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters.
