Nintendo Direct lasts for 60 minutes in September, providing new information on upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and OG Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo recently chose Partner Showcase and Indie Direct, which is a full-fledged direct (first since Switch 2 came out) and also corresponds to the 40th anniversary of Super Mariobro.
September 2025 Nintendo was directed during the Australian era.
Nintendo Direct will be held below on Friday, September 12th.

As for what we’re looking forward to, we definitely think about getting a Metroid Prime 4 release date, in addition to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. And I’m betting on a bunch of Mario merchandise to celebrate my anniversary (probably the A Galaxy 2 remaster).
Beyond that, it’s hard to know what to expect as this is the first Nintendo direct since the Switch 2 was announced in June. It feels like you can start getting heavy hitter teases such as animal crossings.
