It’s a feature that’s been requested ever since PlayStation Portal was announced, and PlayStation confirmed it’s coming today.
With a new update starting today, PlayStation Portal will allow you to stream more than 120 PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus games catalog directly from PlayStation servers instead of playing remotely from the console.
This is available to PlayStation Plus Premium members and available in the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA.
It will launch in beta and will initially be available only for PS5 games including: Dave the Diver, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Monster Hunter Rise, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
You can stream games at 1080p/60FPS and have all the same control options of the DualSense controller while cloud streaming.
The update also adds the ability to turn the speaker volume even lower than before, as well as the ability to adjust settings such as volume and sidetone volume for PlayStation Link devices.
