This week, focusing on Nintendo’s original Switch, rumors have spread that another Nintendo’s direct could be set up. This will be added to the Nintendo Switch 2 Focused Nintendo Direct, which is taking place next week.
The rumors began with users (known in the past for correctly leaking directors) claiming that Nintendo’s direct will come on March 26th (probably in Australia on the 27th). This was backed up by another user on Famiboards who leaked information on Switch 2, which turned out to be correct.

There is good reason to be skeptical based on these two reports, but Natethehate2 (which correctly leaked the original Switch 2 release date) has heard about the Nintendo presentation this Thursday or around, and says it will be direct.
“To stop constant questions: Yes, I heard there will be a Nintendo presentation this week. I think it will be in person on Thursday, but in the current format it’s not 100% certain,” Natehate 2 said.
Whether or not the second Nintendo direct this week is present, it’s been more than a week since the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, so the hype train is definitely off the station, so the extra game you get before that will be the icing before that.
