Mr Kirat is calling for greater legal reform so that victims of online abuse and manipulation, such as catfishing, are better cared for and their pain and suffering recognized.
Kirat concluded of Sweet Bobby: “If this happened to me on this scale, it can happen to anyone. No one is taking it seriously. It’s wrong.”
“We live our lives online now, banking, shopping, dating, everything, and we need to be safe. It wasn’t safe. This is dangerous.”
