Nintendo Switch 2 Nintendo Direct takes place over five days. Here we expect Nintendo to reveal everything about the Nintendo Switch 2, including price, release date and game release lineup.
One thing that’s unclear was when Nintendo’s Switch 2 pre-orders went live. Following the Nintendo Switch 2 Nintendo Direct, it was rumored that pre-orders would be running directly. Best Buy, Canada’s largest retailer, appears to have been confirmed as well.
Best Buy posted on its website, “Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 will open on Best Buy Canada on April 2 (April 3) to give you the opportunity to protect your console early. There are things you need to know about Nintendo in person, and how to pre-order your Nintendo Switch 2 from Best Buy Canada.”

Just as with how pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X | s occur, I expect at this point that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 are likely to live directly connected (probably April 3, here Thursday April 3).
