Netflix has announced the official teaser trailer for Meiji-era, the all-invalid Samurai Saga, Last Samurai Standing, which raided the streaming giant in November. Please take a look at the teaser above and read the information.
plot
Night falls above Tenoriji Temple in Kyoto in the late 19th century. 292 Warriors, with one wooden tag, zero margin for error. Stole the rival tag and race to Tokyo – only one person walks away from the prize. Okada junich (actor, fighting choreographer, former member of Japanese boys band V6) played Shujiro Saga and fell into steel scrum and split seconds choices.
“From this moment on, you’re all in the game,” the director says that many combatants are busy in small areas. The vase will break and coins will be poured in. “Use the necessary means to grab other players’ tags.” As this brutal competition unfolds, cue action is rich.
The series has already participated in the programme of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, and Netflix is framing it as a potential reform of Japanese drama serials.
Who swings the blade
Okada is more than just a lead. He is a producer and action planner. Within a large ensemble: Kaya Kiyohara, Higashi, Masahiro, roshasopani, dowichi saotome, Yuya endo, Yasushi fuchikami, Kairi Jo, Yamada, Wataru Ichinose, Riho Yoshioka, Kazunari ninomiya, hisshiaki, hiroshiaka, hisshiaka hamada, Okazaki Taiyo, and Arataiula.
Behind the scenes and release dates
Director Fujiwara (Yamaguchi Kent and Yamamoto Matsumoto) confuses modern CG and practical mayhem and many stunt people and extras. For example, the temple’s melee ceremony in the teaser was filmed over multiple days with more than 1,000 cast and crew members.
Based on the Ikusagami novel (Kodansha Bunko) of Imamura’s Yogora, the six-episode series is written by Fujii, Yamaguchi and Lisa Yashiro. Music by Takashi Omama. Filming by Mune Imamurake and Yamada Hiroaki. Planned and produced by Netflix on Office Shirous.
The final Samurai Standing will be streamed on Netflix on Worldwide starting November 13th.
