Apple has announced the latest members of its iPhone 16 lineup. It’s called the iPhone 16E and is a major improvement from the last iPhone SE.
There is a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, but retains a notch instead of a dynamic island. Obviously, the addition of USB-C means that all iPhones use USB-C and have an action button, but no camera control.
Battery life is the largest on a 6.1-inch iPhone that lasts 12 hours longer than the last iPhone SE and 4 hours longer than the iPhone 16 while running video playback. This states that battery life will be greatly helpful thanks to the new Apple C1 modem, Apple’s first in-house design modem.
The iPhone 16E uses the same A18 chip as the iPhone 16, allowing Apple Intelligence features such as Clean Up, Summaries and Genmojis to fully enable high-performance gaming.
As for the camera, there is one rear-view camera, a 48MP fusion camera with a double telephoto zoom, and you can also shoot 4K video on Dolby Vision.
