And this time it will also be expanded to SHORT FILMS.
Pitch your short video in the beautifully renovated Balmain Town Hall on Friday 22nd November. We will then gather a crew to produce the film and screen it at the Inner West Film Fest in April 2025.
This thrilling and distinctive event gives contestants 90 seconds to pitch their key idea to a panel of mentors and connectors. The panel will provide valuable feedback to make the film even better. Plus, you can win prizes!
Please send your entire project to info@innerwestfilmfest.com.au by November 11, 2024, including the concept, working title, synopsis, and a one-minute video pitch explaining how and why the film will be made.
Selected pitches will be entered into a pitch competition in November, where winners will receive mentorship from industry experts and the opportunity to take their projects to the next stage. There will also be actors and staff in the audience, and networking will take place afterwards, so you can leave the venue with your collaborators.
By participating in the Pitching Competition, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume the inherent risk that ideas proposed at the Festival may be later replicated. Although the Festival organizers will take all reasonable precautions to protect submitted ideas, the Festival does not guarantee that any ideas proposed during the Pitching Competition will not be reproduced by Festival participants or at a later date. We do not guarantee that. It is the Contestant’s responsibility to take the necessary precautions to ensure that their ideas are protected.
See you soon!
