“The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 6 Trailer: Final Chapter Promises Revolution, Revenge and Redemption

The battle with Gilead is in my mind. Hulu removes the official trailer for Handmaid’s Tale season 6, giving you a glimpse into what is being billed as the final explosive chapter of the story of Osborne in June. The trailer above and the following information.

Handmade Story Season 6 Plot: The Final Battle of June begins

It’s been three years since I last saw Osborne (Elizabeth Moss) in June, but Season 6 doesn’t have time to go back to chaos. The new trailer shows June heading straight to enemy territory. Their mission? not clear. Their odds? It’s not great. “Two madmen heading towards Gilead on wings and prayers,” says Luke. And honestly, he’s not wrong.

The long-running June love triangle between Luke and Nick (Max Mingera) never disappears quietly. Nick is still fighting for June despite his own personal disaster, putting everyone and everyone at risk. Meanwhile, Moira (Samira Wiley) joins the growing resistance, Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) faces the inevitable consequences of his role in building Gilead’s repressive regime.

Serena returns to Gilead… and will she get married?

One of the most surprising moments in the trailer is courtesy of Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovsky) who returns to Gilead. Not only that, she walks down the aisle wearing a pale blue dress surrounded by handmade items. Then we see Josh Charles’ new character sweeps her into his arms. It’s obviously her new husband. Given Serena’s past, everyone is guessing whether this is a strategic move or another step towards her downfall.

Handmade also takes the problems into their own hands. Armed and ready for war, they appear ready to kill anyone who is in their way. Even Aunt Lydia (Anne Dowd) appears to have noticed that things are spiraling, and June is murmurping darkly at the heart of it.

Who will return to the final season of Handmade Stories?

The cast for season 6 includes Elizabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahofsky, Bradley Whitford, Max Mingela, Anne Dowd, Ott Fagbenl, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brugel, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jeger, Ever Caradine and the new series regular Josh Halls. Alexis Bledel (Emily) left the series after Season 5 and did not return.

Behind the scenes, Elizabeth Moss will direct four episodes of the season, including the finale. Bruce Miller remains a writer and executive producer, but handed over his showrunner duties to Eric Tukeman and Yarin Chan.

Handmade Story Season 6 Release Date: When and Where to Watch

The Handmade Story Season 6 will premiere on US Hulu on April 8, 2025 with a 3 episode drop. The new episodes unfold every Tuesday until the series finale on May 27th.

In Australia, SBS On Demand will stream the first three episodes on April 9th. A weekly episode continues.
