Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Four Seasons, an eight-episode comedy series starring Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Colman Domingo and Marco Calvani. The upcoming series, created by Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, rethinks Alan Alda’s 1981 romantic comedy for a new audience. Above trailer; the following information.
What are the four seasons?
The Four Seasons follows three longtime couples who have built friendships over decades of shared experiences and weekend getaways. When one of the couple reveals that they are split, the close group is thrown into emotional confusion. Married to Jack (Forte), Fay Starr as Kate. Karel plays Nick. Nick is portrayed by his wife Anne by Kenny Silver. Domingo and Calbani concluded the group as Danny and Claude.
Speaking about the series on Netflix site Tudum, Fey explained that viewers hope to take them from the show. “The audience feels like they’re in a big sweater with us and we hope we’re holding dinners with us again,” Faye said. “And I hope that we all all of each other’s joy and warmth that we feel about every move, and that we are offering them some laughs in their homes.”

Carell praised the writing and chemistry between the cast, noting how quickly and authentic the on-screen relationships felt. “It feels alive,” Carell told Tadam. “And I also attribute it to writing and casting. I feel like these people have been in each other’s lives for a long time. There’s a code. There’s an implicit relationship that entangles them all, and they speak the same language with each other.
Who is behind Netflix’s Four Seasons?
The Netflix comedy series was created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. Fey explained the deeper themes the series explores. “Tracy, Lang and I talked about how Shaw is a love letter to both platonic and romantic long-term relationships,” Faye said. “Your life is ideal because it’s more than the person you’re married to. Sometimes, when you’re struggling with something with just your spouse, you need a group of friends to bring humor to it. Those friendships really help you get married.”
The series is an executive produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond. Alan Alda and Marissa Bregman are also producers.
Four Seasons Release Date
All eight episodes of the four seasons run for about 30 minutes each, and will premiere on Netflix on May 1st.
