Ahead of its May 30 launch, Software and Bandai Namco Entertainment handled a lengthy overview trailer for Elden Ring Nightrign. In addition to being able to play the game during network testing, this is the most vast look of the Eldenling spinoff so far. It has become a very different experience than the shadows of Eldenling and Eldry, but it seems to be worth experiencing in its own right.
New land
Limveld, like the land in between, is a land that has long since fallen from the time of bounty. Night Road whips natural landscapes and consumes everything in the darkness. You and the other group will be deployed to Limveld to hunt the Night Road and release it from its curse. As a level 1 character, you need to quickly power up across lands by collecting gear, leveling up, and challenging powerful enemies to earn powerful rewards.
Every time you access Limveld, the layout changes. Sudden events such as new enemy arrangements, meteor strikes, changes in topography, and structural changes can present themselves as they move between runs. Lending Nightray replay values is a key element, encouraging people to learn inside and outside the land, ensuring they can make the most of their daily life in the cycle. Darkness slowly creeps into the inevitable boss battle to prove that it is strong enough to move on the next day.
Cooperative efforts
Limveld should not be explored on its own. Group with friends and other nightfarrers to confront the fears that threaten Rimveld. Knocking down allows you to attack each other and return to the battle. Plus, you can choose from eight unique night furs with unique skills and abilities. Each has a different weapon, ultimate art and skill. To succeed, find the best playstyle and what meets your team’s weaknesses.
This is yet another example of how Nightreign wants you to spend your time getting to know its world and characters. A successful run involves only player mastery and communication between night farrers. From magical recluses to deadly duchess, there’s something for everyone. The playstyle that can be thought of as Eldenling exists in Night Grain.
Return to Round Table
In between runs, you will be reconvened at the Round Table sales office. It serves as the foundation for a Night Fur ready for a fight in Limveld. Roundtable Hold is a place where you can increase your statistics and manage relics that change skills. Here you will find plenty of them to experiment and play around with how they fit the build and play style that fits perfectly with each build and play style.
One neat touch of round table hold is the ability to equip skins for night faerers. These are not simple recruits or armor swaps. References to characters from past games such as Software, Solare, Farahm, and Leonhard. It also teases that Nightfarrer’s memories may return once they complete the run, allowing them to fill in the blanks of Nightfarrer’s blurred memories and flashbacks. These can reveal additional goals and objectives to complete during execution, adding even more depth to the story of these characters and Limveld.
Stand up against the Night Road
All of this serves the final challenge of the Eldenling Night Ligue: Night Road. At the end of the third day of each run, you will need to fight these deadly enemies. Although some of these have not been revealed, they each promise to be a challenging and unique boss fight to face off at the end of each run. These are tense, multi-stage battles that can only be overcome if you spend your time efficiently in Limveld, so you will grow with strength to confront the fall of the night.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released on May 30th for PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC.
