Schlapian is heading for his final mission. Hulu has announced that opposition from the adult animation series Solar will win its next sixth season.
The news was confirmed on the show’s Instagram and teased “final mission” and a typically confused taco on Tuesday.
Fans are, of course, disappointed by the news. “This series must enter forever like Family Guy ☹️,” reads one response to an Instagram post. I’ve posted another post. “I’m actually crying NOOOO. I jokingly chose to believe it was a prank. “Hahahaha Gaigans😂😂😂 April 1st is so funny about you two weeks away.”
Hulu describes the final season as “Galactic Grand Finale.” This is due to premiere this fall, but the exact date has not yet been beamed up.
Season 6 discovered that Korvo and the gang are still facing the biggest crisis. They’re broken. The official overview is as follows:
When families on the other side of the sun break down, they must learn to survive on Earth without sci-fi devices, huge amounts of video games, snacks and a gorgeous clock. As they fall into a hilarious prank, they witness the wild chaos of this unharmed alien family. Meanwhile, the final chapter of the epic drama unfolds for the shrunken people they have imprisoned on the wall. Expect to laugh every turn as Solar navigates an unforgettable farewell.
The Fan Five Light Wall storyline returns with Shelley (Christina Hendrix) and Ringo, aka Duke (Alfred Molina), and plays a big role again. Participants in them are guest stars Tiffany Haddish, Kieran Calkin, Ken Marino, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Beck Bennett.
The main cast will remain as Yumyulack, with Dan Stevens as Korvo, Terry as Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack Jesse and Sean Giambrone. Stevens voiced the Corvo, which begins with season four, following the departure of co-creator and original star Justin Royland. Mike McMahan executives are produced alongside Josh Bysell and Sidney Ryan.
Since its debut in 2020, Solar’s opposition has fused mixed moments of humor and heartfelt with ridiculous healthy moments in sci-fi. It was a wild ride. I don’t want to see it go, but I’m happy it’s worth six seasons. Hopefully they’re going out loud… so loud, forcing them to keep going, damn!
