The Amazing Race Australia is set to return in late 2024 with an all-new celebrity contestant. This adventure reality show follows teams of two as they race around the world and participate in various challenges in multiple “legs” of the race.
Each week, the last team to reach the “pit stop” is eliminated. The winner in 2023 was Scottish-Australian TV presenter Darren McMullen and his nephew Tristan Dorgan, but it remains to be seen which team will finish first in 2024.

Who will host The Amazing Race Australia in 2024?
Beloved larrikin Beau Ryan has confirmed he will return to host The Amazing Race Australia for a fifth season in October 2023. He has been hosting the action-packed reality show since it was rebooted by Channel Ten in 2019.
Prior to that, actor Grant Bowler hosted The Amazing Race Australia on Channel 7 for three seasons from 2010 to 2014. Host Beau Ryan said in an interview with TV Tonight that he was “delighted” to be returning to the celebrity edition after two years. line.
“So while we had great success last year thanks to the celebrity version, we love the fact that average Australians can compete as well.
“It’s probably only a matter of time before we go back to that format,” he added.

How much is the prize money on The Amazing Race Australia?
In 2024, the winner of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition will win $100,000 towards a charity of their choice.
In 2023, the $250,000 prize was divided into three equal parts and donated to the three finalist charities: Feel the Magic, Dementia Australia and the Leonie Jackson Memorial Fund.
