Two different interviews provided insight into the potential sequels of two highly popular PlayStation franchises, resistance and order: 1886.
Speaking of a bit of a fun game, Insomniac founder Ted Price said the team pitched Resistance 4. “It was a great concept. This was the result of many insomnia gaming team members who are passionate about expanding the story even further,” Price said.
“I believe that resistance sets a cool alternative history base where something happens in chimera and where they go and what their origins are. We’re in the future. I spent a lot of time working on backstory and brainstorming about where I could take this.’ Continuous price.
Unfortunately, Sony knocked back on the extension as “timing and market opportunities” didn’t exist due to resistance. Personally, this is sad for me. Resistance is one of my favorite PlayStation franchises and there’s no way to play the original trilogy without owning a PS3.
In similar news, Dawn co-founder Andrea Pessino talks about studio plans for The Order: 1886 sequel (before the company was acquired by Meta). He believes it was knocked back due to the critical acceptance of the game. This is disappointing considering that mock reviews are far better than critics.
“I don’t think that was sales. I think that was important, that’s what it is,” Pessino said. “We needed it at least a year and we didn’t get it, so it was like a cut, a cut, a cut,” he continued.
Another order: The chances of getting a 1886 game seem very low. Resistance is slightly possible, but at this point I feel quite unlikely.
