The trailer is here for the terminal list: Dark Wolf, a new Prime Video prequel series that brings Taylor Kitsch back to the Fire Line. Please take a look at the above and get the following information:
This time, the spotlight is firmly on Ben Edwards, a loyal, morally grey seal who made a dark turn on the terminal list. Now we’re getting the story of how he got there, and judging by the teaser, it’s going to be a cruel ride through loyalty, compromise and some seriously annoying decisions.
From soldier to shadow
Set before the events of the original series, Dark Wolf tracks the journey from the forefront of Ben’s Navy Seal Operation to the hidden chaos of CIA Special Ops. In the teaser, he makes a fateful decision during the mission. He appears to have set him on a conflict course with his own moral compass and those who question his methods. “I’m not going to apologize for what I did,” he said. The message is clear: this is not a beautiful hero story.
“It’s raw. It’s honest.”
Executive Producer Kitsch says the show is digging deeper than before. He describes the role as his most emotionally driven, but pays attention to the bonds with soldiers and the emotional sacrifice of their choices. “I have a great respect for the military and the Sealing community,” he said.
Old face, new threat
Chris Pratt recreates his role as James Reese, but this chapter belongs to Ben. Also in the cast are Tom Hopper, Robert Chie, Luke Hemsworth, Dal Salim, Lonalie Simon, Shiraz Tsarfaty and Jared Shaw returning as Boozer. Here we explicitly strive to be rooted in the original rough, grounded tone, with author Jack Kerr and showrunner David Desigilio piloting the ship again. Showgan pilot director Frederic Eotoy handles overseeing the mission.
release date
Terminal List: Dark Wolf will begin on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 with a 3-episode premiere on Prime Video alone. New episodes will drop weekly until the September 24th finale.
