Prime Video has released the official terminal list trailer: Dark Wolf is a first-part series that returns to the world of Jack Carr’s military thriller. Taylor Kitsch took the lead as Ben Edwards, exploring the early transition from naval seals to CIA operatives for the character. Chris Pratt will also return as James Reese, but the focus here is firmly on Ben’s origins.
Please see the trailer above and see more details on the series below.
Ben Edwards before the list
Set before the terminal list event, the Dark Wolf begins with the career ending of Ben’s seal and an entry into the CIA’s Special Operations Division. He is a controversial recruit and his reputation for precedence over him, not everyone on his new team is excited. As the mission unfolds, a gray area expands. What starts as counter-terrorism allocations become more troubling, and the line between obligation and damage control begins to blur.
The trailer gives a glimpse into the upcoming friction, including a key exchange between Li and Kitsch’s Ben Edwards during Tom Hopper’s Ray Ayf Hastings. “Whatever the rules, we need to remember that we are not players here. We are just the pieces on the board,” says Hastings. Ben replies, “Even pawns can defeat the king.”
