The launch of Midnight was once a major part of the major console/game releases. I will never forget to go to my local EB game for the release of the Wii U. Sydney’s The Gamesmen has announced that it will host a Nintendo Switch 2 host, so it appears to have a similar nostalgia.
The event, which will be held from June 4th to June 5th, will also feature gift packs for the first line, presents and photo opportunities with the incredible Nintendo Retro Wall, which will be on display at the Pensherst Store.
Attendees will be the first in the world to acquire titles such as Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart World, Breath of the Wild: The Kingdom’s Tears, and Cyberpunk 2077.
If you’re planning on joining if your inventory is sold out, it’s obviously a good idea to pre-order your Nintendo Switch 2 and if you’re trading to make sure it’s done a day in advance.
At the time of writing, it appears unlikely that other retailers will return to doing them, as they have not announced midnight releases.
