I can’t find anywhere that Valve actually announced this, but they did make another tweak to Steam’s user review system to show who played primarily on the Steam Deck. This follows recent user review updates that attempted to feature jokes, memes, and ASCII art.
It’s another way for Valve to promote their Steam Deck in a decent way, and it’s important for potential buyers to be able to see who is actually playing on it. If you primarily use Steam Decker, this is a good way to determine if a game is really worth purchasing.
You can now see the Steam Deck icon when viewing various user reviews on Steam. This is the same one that was recently added to your friends list to show you who is currently online on Steam Deck.

This may encourage more Steam Deck players to review just to show off the time they’ve spent on the game. This could lead to even more sales for the game, and perhaps more sales for Steam decks as well.
