During the panel discussion, it was also revealed that Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) has been selected as a special guest star for Season 1. There was no explanation about her character.
During the livestream, Kurtzman was joined by Starfleet cast members Sandro Rosta, Keris Brooks, Vera Shepherd, George Hawkins, Karim Diane, and Zoe Steiner. The series’ ensemble also includes Paul Giamatti, Holly Hunter, and Oded Fehr.
