EA today unveiled Star Wars Zero Company, a new single-player turn-based tactical game with BIT Reactor and Respawn Entertainment, which will be released in 2026 for the PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
This game takes place in the Clone Wars where you play as the Hawks, a former Republic officer. In-game, the Hawks’ appearance and combat classes are fully customized, and employed operatives can be personalized from clone troopers, astromechs and even Jedi.
The game is clearly a turn-based tactical game, but there are impressive films that tell a engaging new story.
“The vision of Star Wars Zero Company is based on the pillars of gameplay design woven into the fascinating Star Wars Galaxy. “Our goal is to provide a game with original Star Wars stories from the Clone Wars era that bring meaningful results from player choices, as well as deep turn-based tactical combat with friendly, cinematic presentations.”
“At Lucasfilm Games, we’re huge tactical fans and we’ve been wanting to make games like this for a long time,” said Douglas Reilly, GM & VP of Lucasfilm Games. “All the best tactical games are meaningful options and I’m sure we chose the right team of Bitreactors to provide Star Wars with a genuine, engaging and innovative title.”
