Kicking things off with CMA Country Christmas 2025 (December 3), a star-packed festive showcase hosted by Rainie Wilson, the month switches gears into the realm of blood and betrayal with Spartacus: House of Asur (from December 5). This is a wild alternate history story in which Acheule reigns supreme and unleashes fearsome gladiators on Rome.
True crime takes center stage in “Exposed: The Death Cap Murder Case” (December 7), which delves deep into the Erin Patterson case through evidence, testimony, and expert analysis. Next week, “Irish Blood” (December 11), a thriller starring Alicia Silverstone about a Los Angeles lawyer who uncovers a dangerous Irish family secret, will be dropped.
As December progresses, there are more variations. survival thriller “Stranger Eyes” (December 6); Heartwarming Doco Plastic People (December 7th). Family-friendly highlights like The Smurfs (December 10); And for a limited time, “Call the Midwife: Christmas Special 2023” (December 26) returns. And just after Christmas comes the Sydney-set crime comedy Sunny Nights (December 26), starring Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden as brothers trying to set up a spray tanning business while accidentally finding their way into the criminal underworld.
