Screen Productions Australia (SPA) has announced producers who have secured pitches with Foxtel Group, AppleTV and Shudder through its Pitch On Demand initiative.
Approximately 126 members submitted 192 customized one-page pitches, and 18 were selected (6 producers per platform). Submitted works were evaluated for project quality and alignment with each platform’s specific brief.
Now in its fourth year, this customized program is designed to help producers fast-track opportunities to pitch their projects directly to commissioners.
Executives engaged with applicants through written briefs and live webinars (IF reported on webinars here), providing insight into the types of projects applicants were seeking.
SPA CEO Matthew Diener recognized the talent and commitment shown by the participants.
“This initiative continues to showcase the outstanding creativity and storytelling abilities of our members,” he said.
“As well as providing immediate opportunities, Pitch on Demand fosters industry relationships and highlights the depth and breadth of talent in Australian film production.”
