“Sending lots of love and strength to Sean and everyone in the comments section who are battling the debilitating, confusing, and isolating symptoms of POTS!” she wrote.
“I was diagnosed with POTS, Sjögren’s, and MCAS in 2018, but I really don’t want my health to be my identity,” she said.
According to Healthdirect, POTS is “a health condition that causes dizziness when standing up, rapid heart rate, and a variety of other symptoms. It can make daily life extremely difficult.”

They added that Sjogren’s syndrome is “an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the body’s own healthy cells. It attacks the glands that normally produce tears, saliva, and sweat.”
Meanwhile, MCAS, short for mast cell activation syndrome, causes “unexplained episodes of severe symptoms, including swelling, diarrhea, vomiting, flushing, and itching, without any apparent trigger,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.
She also mentioned Dysautonomia International, a U.S. health organization that “seeks to improve the lives of people living with autonomic nervous system disorders.”
