Sky Sports has secured the rights to the British & Irish Lions’ tour of Australia in 2025 and will exclusively broadcast live coverage of all three Test matches and six preliminary matches.
The deal will see Sky Sports broadcast the Lions’ tour for the eighth consecutive year, starting with the iconic 2-1 series victory over South Africa in 1997.
The Lions tasted series success the last time they visited Australia in 2013, with a memorable performance in the decisive final Test and a dramatic 2-1 series win.
The Lions, who lost their 2021 tour to South Africa due to the coronavirus, will begin the first Test in Brisbane at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium as they aim for their second consecutive series win in Australia.
