Screen Australia has committed to supporting 11 new documentaries through its Producers Program and two more through its Commissioning Program, all for A$3 million (US$2 million). will share a pool of production funds.

Seven Network is also funding Mental as Anything, a music documentary produced by Beyond about the rise of the band of the same name.
Meanwhile, ABC’s Headliners, an original series from Banijay-owned Endemol Shine Australia, explores the issues of musicians living with disabilities.
